One problem, looked at for a long time from several different jobs. This page is here so you can decide how much weight to give any of it.
The long version
A company has the money, the tools, the data, the strategy, and people who are good at their jobs. Very little of it turns into work anyone would call a contribution.
I saw it first in sales. Then in learning, in technology, in go-to-market, and in whole transformations. Same problem wearing different clothes each time, which is usually a sign the problem isn’t the clothes.
AI made it urgent rather than new. There’s far more that can be done now, but most organizations still move at legacy speed — data drag between what they know and what they can act on. The Five Tangles usually explain why: cognitive confusion, emotional resistance, behavioral inertia, poor translation between business and tech, and cultures that reward activity over contribution.
I talk about fixing the data side with a speed layer — a fast path from signal to decision so good work doesn’t stall in the middle. The human side is untangling those five knots, one at a time, in the order that actually matters.
I don’t have a law for this. I have a long look at one problem, these two frames, and a set of questions that tend to help. So I built somewhere to use them.
